OVERVIEW

Intersect is a feminist artist magazine made to empower women of all races, sizes, and everything in between. The target audience is women ages 20-35, who enjoy art and sharing art culture. Intersect provides a platform where important conversations surrounding misogyny, equality, and oppression can take place.

SOLUTION

For the magazine, I wanted something that represents a loud and proud feminist so I chose a stylish yet not so typically feminine typeface called Neue Machina. For the covers, I chose photographs that really stand out and make the viewer question who person on the cover is. The colors I chose are mix of light and dark tones to show acceptance to all women and their personal preferences.
